The hammer hits hard and has a stun, the health regen was handy and the miracle Evacuate was so useful I try to get it on other builds.Level strength 20 and dex 12, then get faith to 40. After that just get vitality and endurance to softcap. If you want to use faith spells you will also need intelligence 15 for mana and magic 10 to learn spells.
